Castle hunts him down and manages to eliminate him.
Returning to the Thunderbolts' base, he does not reveal his brother's fate to Elektra, but ends the relationship with her.

Venom confronts Mercy, to find out her agenda.
The woman proves she can control her symbiote, so Flash Thompson flees.
He talks about it soon after with General Ross, who tells him about Mercy's origins.
The woman was in stasis in a military warehouse after the fight with Hulk.
After the meeting Mercy kills one of his soldiers and flees.
Years later Red Hulk starts looking for her and joins her in India.
Mercy pretends to be the Goddess Kali, dispensing death to her worshipers, who voluntarily offer themselves to her.
Red Hulk is easily defeated by Mercy, but Ross does not give up and returns to her.
He convinces her to join the Thunderbolts by promising many deaths.
That way, he explains to Flash, he thinks he can watch her.
