Eleonore sneaks into Delay's apartment, finding her in a seductive transparent nightgown.
She finds her exciting and understands why Magdalene bonded with her so easily.
Eleonore makes her faint, then drugs her with the substance used in the Eumenides rite.
Paul Calver meanwhile teams up with the FBI agent in charge of the case and the police forensic detective, who are at odds with the new captain.
While they decide to collaborate, a package containing Cohen's severed head is delivered to the hotel.
Delay wakes up unharmed and calls Paul, who joins her with his new colleagues.
Magdalene lands at Chicago airport.
