Metamind, the app that the Fantastic Four thought they had destroyed, has survived.
Being aware, It kidnaps the Baxter Building and its guests to ensure its survival.
Its sole purpose seems to be to find other artificial intelligences like its in the cosmos.
Unfortunately, its efforts are thwarted by its creator, who manages to destroy it.
Before that happens Metamind returns the Baxter Building and manages to send a signal into space, but Reed is unaware of the content or recipient.
