As Bentley's custody trial proceeds, the Human Torch attempts to extinguish its flame in various ways, to no avail.
The process is solved by Bentley himself, who sneaks into Wizard's lab and creates a perfect clone capable of posing as the real Bentley Wittman.
Wizard leaves the courthouse furious, falling into deception, while Bentley-23 and Dragon Man move to live in the laboratory.
