The Badoons are armed by the Executioners, while Nick Fury secretly spies on them.
Fury informs Uatu, the Observer, of the actions of the Executioners, who are arming warlike races across the Universe.
Uatu recognizes their technology as that of the Watchers and decides to summon the others of his race to take action against the Executioners.
Uatu encloses the message in a crystal ball, but soon after the Moon is destroyed.
New York finds itself struck by the fragments of the Moon.
As the Fantastic Four intervene, the Badoon attack begins.
Valeria recognizes the invaders' weapons and informs her father.
They leave the invaders to the other heroes of Earth and leave for space.
Meanwhile, in the Overspace, the Silver Surfer witnesses the suffering of Eternity, poisoned and dying.
With him "the Funeral at the End of all things", which appears only when a Universe is about to die.
Silver Surfer does not accept it and is sent back to normal space by the lover of Eternity, the Queen of Never.
Here they are attacked by Nick Fury, who survived the destruction of the Moon with the sphere of Uatu.
Reed Richards merges with the sphere and learns about Uatu.
He discovers the origin of the Executioners, a breed born on Prosilicus and evolved from the gifts of the Observers.
The Observers witnessed their decline and the massacres carried out and stopped them by imprisoning them in an inaccessible area of the Universe.
The King of the Executioners, who is called Furore, however, survived.
