Silver Surfer brings Destruction (the fusion of Galactus and the Destroyer of Asgard) to the Planet, but it's too late.
The Fantastic Four confronts the Executioners and Reed Richards manages to stop them using the absolute null amplifier (which the Watchers built).
Classic cosmic tale, at the level of those written by Jim Starlin for Warlock and Thanos, I would say!
