Historical account on the history of my lands, written by an author from Trentino (more precisely from Valley of Mochens) and drawn by the Argentine artist known for "Dago".
It is about the tragic life of Filiberta Madruzzo, Countess of Challant, nephew of the Bishop Prince Carlo Emanuele Madruzzo, the last of his lineage.
The story is set from 1626 to 1649, dates of birth and death of poor Filiberta.
The young girl falls in love with a lute player, but her uncle, the Prince of Trento, wants to marry her off to the brother of his mistress, Vincenzo Particella.
Filiberta is forced to move to Trento, but the lover joins her.
Carlo Emanuele has her locked up in a convent, where the young girl dies (perhaps poisoned).
The Prince-Bishop will never get permission to marry his mistress from the Pope.
