He found out about the new gold contract and finds it suspicious that her daughter Merryl found it, just 3 years after Rachel's, given that only 3 other gold contracts have been made in thousands of years.
Bauphette manages to convince him that it is a coincidence, but he promises to keep an eye on her.
Once again, Bauphette loses control and reverts to her original Fury form.
