"Fumo di China" was a bimonthly with reviews on comics, of any kind, with the addition of a few interviews (in this issue Roberto Diso, designer of Bonelli, author of "Mister No") and some insights on the characters and authors (Go Nagai and She-Hulk).
A very large format, not very practical for storage, but characteristic.

A not too deep and apolitical satire, nonetheless enjoyable.

The Mummy

Horror story, with a pinch of humor, with some cinematic appeal.
The protagonist is a beautiful archaeologist who accompanies a group to discover an Egyptian tomb.
Retrieved some precious objects from the tomb, the other members are affected by a curse.
She however, immediately fascinated by the mummy, discovers his origins and becomes his lover.

A Sentence

Historical reconstruction of a medieval trial (1632).
A farmer, Galeazzo Cafone, is arrested on charges of having brought the plague into the town.
The accusation is false and pushes the other farmers to rebel.
During the revolt, among others, Cafone himself and his friend who arrested him, Alessandro, were killed.
Well scripted "grayscale" work.
