Caitlin mysteriously disappears, after Roxy begins to be haunted by strange nightmares again.
The nightmares concern a mysterious man she glimpsed in the first episode of the series.
Gen13 and John Lynch are lured to an abandoned carnival, where they are captured by unknown ESPs.
Leading them is Trance, the man who haunts Roxy's dreams.
John Lynch is defeated by a mysterious woman, who turns out to be Caitlin, transformed into her evil version.
In the finale Ivana Baiul is ready to send the DV8, her group of ESPs (Leon Carver, aka Frostbite; Hector Morales, aka Powerhouse; Gem Antonelli, aka Copycat; Michael Heller, aka Evo; Rachel Goldman, aka Sublime), against the Gen13s.
Finally, Pirate Captain Lucius Morgan informs John Fairchild that his daughter Caitlin is looking for him.

Cole (Grifter) comes to get a spare part for his motorcycle, which Cyberjack left him.
Taboo doesn't trust him and doesn't invite him in, directing him to a restaurant a few kilometers away.
In Cole's Restaurant he meets Marc Slayton, while he is facing a shape-shifting ESP named Beck.
Grifter and Backlash manage to defeat him together, despite the disagreements between them.
Cyberjack awakens after the surgery, apparently back to normal appearance, but still under Kaizen's control.
