Grunge continues his dream journey and reaches the “Image” village.
Here he meets Spawn, who entrusts him to Madman to find the wizard.
Madman accompanies him to face the Great Beast (of Consumerism), which is threatening the world of "Sequential Art” (The Comics).
At her side are Sarah Rainmaker, in the Jungle Princess costume, and Maxx.
Other characters join them: Gorilla Man, Shi, the protagonists of “Stranger in Paradise” and Hellboy.
When Grunge gives up his limited-run comic, he manages to wake up.
The authors prove to be particularly critical of their own publishing house, in this story, but also of the entire American comics market, saving only some products.
