Cyclops leads a new team of X-Men from a former Sentinel factory in Alaska.
Some members of the team operate mainly from the base: Beast, Magneto, Xorn and Glob.
The operative team currently includes: Cyclops, Psylocke, Kid Omega, Temper, Magik and Juggernaut.
Their first mission is to rescue Wolverine from a base by Orchis, now 3K, where they are trying to create mutants.
It seems they managed to give powers to 6 humans, who managed to escape.
Meanwhile, Beast befriends the village sheriff, revealing that he has no memories of his time on Krakoa (as revealed in a Wolverine adventure, the only memories saved in Henry McCoy's Cradle date back to his time as an Avenger).
The new mutants of 3K manage to escape and we see in the shadows the new leaders of the organization, represented by the same “X” of the X-Men.
These are: the Zealot, the Doctor, the Means and the President.

Jubilee goes snooping around the outside of Westchester School, now used as a prison for mutants.
Her presence is reported to Dr. Ellis, the director of the prison, thanks to the powers of a mutant she is exploiting, Scurvy.
Jubilee helps a young zebra-skinned mutant fight racist bullies and manifests new, more destructive powers.
After the performance she calls Logan and informs him that she'll help Rogue.
Among Dr. Ellis' other prisoners, besides Xavier, we see Blob & Siryn.
