The story is seen through the eye of the video camera of three documentary filmmakers.
Their goal is to make a documentary about Hulk and they visit the country where the first gamma bomb exploded.
Viridian, in New Mexico, is now in ruins, after the closure of the military base where the experiment was held.
The three documentary makers sneak into the military base and discover that there are radioactive substances that seep into the ground.
They are attacked by a Mole Man monster, Giganto, but Hulk intervenes to protect them.
During the battle, one of them is killed.
Bruce Banner is also present at the funeral.
In the epilogue we discover that Giganto belongs to a family of monsters, commanded by the Firstborn, linked to Hulk.
