A white woman, now living with the natives, recalls her story.
Raised in a Simonite village, she chooses to escape and live with Crow Absaroka's warrior, who came to buy her from her parents.
Unfortunately her charm attracts the attention of Yellow Face, a horse thief, who rapes her.
Her companion is forced to chase her out of the village and she ends up in the arms of a white bandit, "The Man Without Thumbs", who is hunting Yellow Face.
After being also raped by the bandit, the girl is forced to take him to Yellow Face.
The men shoot each other, but she must shoot "The Man Without Thumbs" to finish him off.

Two white men are looking for gold hidden in a native village.
An active old man tries to dissuade them, but they enter the ancient village anyway.
They end up killing each other, transformed into monsters by greed.

The American army is hunting a band of natives who refuse to enter the reservation.
Their leader, a shaman, is betrayed by a companion and hanged, but vows revenge.
One by one his executioners die mysteriously, seeing his spirit.

An old man tells the story of Woquini, known as the medicine man, leader of a band of native rebels.
Woquini convinces his men to attack the army, managing to challenge them alone without ever being hit.
A single victory, which however did not save the natives from final defeat.

A white outlaw searches for native gold with an old prospector, who holds an ancient map.
When the old man refuses to continue, he kills him and takes the map.
Having reached the native village, he is warned by the old native who welcomes him.
Despite this he doesn't give up the search and ends up attacked by monsters.
Maybe it was just a hallucination, but what he saw convinced him to flee.
