The first parable is about “The Prodigal Son,” played by Bart.
When Bart returns home, Homer kills the fatted calf not for his return, but for gluttony.
The second story concerns “Noah's Ark”, starring Ned Flanders.
The Simpsons manage to sneak onto the Ark, causing the extinction of the dinosaurs, eaten by Homer.
