Principal Skinner, organizer of the competition, finds the diary very interesting and decides to publish it.
Too late Lisa discovers that it has been changed.
The false gossip in it creates a new fashion, and everyone starts making similar books.
Everything is resolved with Bart's admission of guilt and the renunciation of Lisa's literary career.
