Springfield's old movie theater is about to be replaced by a multiplex.
Lisa organizes a special screening of old movies to save him.
Bart discovers that Grandpa Abe was a stunt double in a movie and that he is an expert at surfing.
Bart asks him to teach him how to surf.
During a surfing competition a freak wave threatens the city, but Abe saves everyone with grenades.
The wave destroys only the new multiplex and the old movie theater is safe.
