Odin decides to go to Midgard to solve the problems with Thor.
Before leaving, he gives up some of his power to Loki and leaves him the command.
Loki takes the opportunity to free Surtur, the fire demon, and Skagg, the storm giant, from the captivity in which Odin had left them.
Heimdall sends Balder to warn Odin of the danger.
Odin, Balder and Thor face the threat together and stop it.
The title has nothing to do with this story, actually, but with the next one!

Thor is attacked by Cobra, who then escapes.
He accidentally sneaks into Calvin Zabo's house, just before he gets his potion.
Mr. Hyde and Cobra clash, but then decide to team up against the common enemy: Thor!
Mr. Hyde built a machine, the Time Inverter, capable of seeing what happened just before its activation.
The two criminals discover that Thor has left Dr. Blake's office and join him.
Mr. Hyde takes Jane Foster hostage and Thor is forced to submit.
When he finally confronts them, Mr. Hyde steals Mjolnir by a mechanical means.

Thor transforms into Donald Blake in the absence of his hammer.
In the chaos of the fleeing crowd he manages to find his stick inside the mechanical vehicle that had stolen it.
Convinces with deception (convinces him that he needs the stick to take them to Thor) Cobra to retrieve the stick.
Thor has Cobra arrested, but Mr. Hyde transforms and escapes.
Thor chases him and hands him over to the police, but Jane Foster believes Donald Blake betrayed Thor out of cowardice and rejects him.
