Thor is still in Viet-Nam, but prepares to return to Asgard with the stones of the Norns
Loki, to stop him, enchants an unscrupulous hunter and lures him to the hidden time of the Destroyer.
Odin has hidden invincible armor on Midgard in case of danger.
The hunter is absorbed by the armor and attacks Thor.

When Loki sees the superiority of the Destroyer, he seeks help from Odin to save his brother's life, but the Father of All sleeps “Odin's Sleep” and will not be reachable for 24 hours.
Loki helps Thor with a spell, giving him time to separate the hunter from the armor.
In the fight Mjolnir, which the Destroyer used against Thor, is damaged.

During a confrontation with the Mountain Giants, Thor falls through a dimensional gap and arrives on Olympus.
When he meets Hercules, a clash between the two titans begins, which doesn't seem to have a winner.
The intervention of Zeus puts an end to the clash and sends the God of Thunder back to Asgard, erasing the memory of the meeting.
In reality this is the second meeting between the two heroes, even if on the first occasion (during the clash with Immortus, on "The Mighty Thor 17“), Hercules had a more classical aspect.
