Doctor Donald Blake is forced to treat a Mafia boss, Thug Tatcher, who was injured while attempting to escape.
Thug occupies Dr. Blake's office and forces him to seek treatment by threatening Jane Foster.
Separated from his staff, Donald cannot transform into Thor, but manages to telepathically contact his father Odin, who sends an electric shock to the staff.
Now Thor can appear and defeat the mobsters, but Thug manages to escape with Ruby, the woman madly in love with him.
Thor finally manages to capture him and asks Odin to erase the memory of the boss from Ruby's memory, so that he can rebuild a life.
At the beginning of the story, Jane Foster's fantasy about Thor is curious, in which she dreams of polishing his hammer and ironing his cloak, as well as cutting his hair!

Donald Blake, in love with Jane Foster, is unable to confess his feelings to her.
Jane Foster gets mad at him when she finds out that he treats uninsured patients for free.
His misbehavior forces him to investigate like Thor.
Thor discovers that some citizens have been replaced by the Xartians, who have the power to impersonate anyone.
Donald Blake is captured and convinces the aliens that he wants to take them to Thor.
Thor confronts Ugarth and Zano, defeating both of them.
Thor forces Zano and his crew to transform into trees, holding them hostage to prevent future invasions.
Aliens strangely similar to Skrulls...

Odin presents the "belt of strength", the mystical artifact that increases Thor's strength.
Thor investigates some spells affecting the city, for the purpose of robbery.
His suspicions immediately fall on Loki, but Odin confirms that he is still on Asgard.
In reality Loki is acting through a circus wizard, Sandù, who has upgraded to make him a threat to his brother.
Sandù uses his powers to steal entire buildings and transport them to the Moon.
Thor is captured by Sandù, who chains him under a skyscraper.
Odin sends the Valkyries to make Thor wear the belt of strength, so that he can free himself.
Sandù tries too hard, trying to lift Mjolnir and this short-circuits his powers.
An interesting story about Loki's way of acting, which will soon lead to the birth of the Avengers.

Short story describing the mythical clash between Odin and Surtur.
Odin puts Surtur on the run, and he takes refuge on Earth.
The impact of the demon causes the detachment of part of the planet, giving rise to the Moon.
Surtur is trapped in the center of the Earth by the Sword of Odin, which forces the planet to spin around on itself, blocking the demon in the center of the planet thanks to the centrifugal force.
