Donald Blake visits a circus performer who impersonates Thor in the show.
He is secretly investigating the circus, run by Ringmaster (a plan already seen on “il mitico Thor nr. 45”).
Meanwhile, Loki, on Asgard, is organizing the attack on the Golden Kingdom and sends Ulik to eliminate his brother.
Ulik appears in the circus and begins to destroy it, but Ringmaster hypnotizes him and turns him into an attraction.
Thor replaces his double and takes part in the show.
When Ulik appears, lifting a giant barbell for Ringmaster, Thor attacks him, freeing him from hypnosis.
Thor defeats Ulik and sends him back to Asgard, then captures all the members of the Circus of Crime.

The Circus of Crime attacks the palace to eliminate the Avengers (?!?).
The fight puts the Yellowjacket in trouble, fearing for Janet's life.
The trauma awakens the memories of Goliath, which contributes to the defeat of the criminals.
Janet Van Dyne had already figured out his secret, but took advantage of the confusion to force him into marriage.
