Tony Stark's health is critical and he is preparing his will.
Suddenly he is kidnapped from the timeline and taken to the 28th century.
The kidnappers are the Starks, the race that evolved thanks to the technology of Iron Man that crashed on their planet.
Their civilization is in disarray, ravaged by constant wars, so they have decided to seek help from their God, Tony Stark.
Tony works hard, but he can't prevent their decline.
He is sent back to the past, but he forgets everything.

A dying businessman accuses the Stark Enterprises of the nuclear disaster that took place at his plant.
The evidence is sufficient to confirm his suspicions and a samurai sect, The Lords of Silence, agree to avenge him.
Tony Stark is stuck in bed near the end.
When the samurai attack, he faces them with remote controlled armor, but is destroyed.
By straining his body he is able to put on the armor and face them personally.
The new armor is that of War Machine.

War Machine confronts the Lords of Silence and manages to stand up to them.
Only when he convinces them of his innocence does the fight end.
The real culprit is Justin Hammer and they agree to deal with him together.

War Machine and the Lords of Silence attack Justin Hammer's island.
They manage to defeat his men and force Hammer to publicly admit his responsibility in Japan and sell Stane International to Tony Stark.
Upon returning, Tony's conditions worsen and he immediately enters the operating room.
Tony Stark is pronounced dead.
