Marcy is petrified by Gargoyle, without Tony Stark noticing.
In the following days Jim Rhodes starts looking for his girlfriend and finds out that she was investigating Paul St. Pierre.
We begin to glimpse a suspicious jealousy in Tony's lover, Kathy Dare.
Tony is also doing his own investigation, deeming the statues of St. Pierre too realistic.
He discovers in the laboratory that it is organic matter and discovers the artist's identity.
Iron Man stops Gargoyle and his victims are brought back "in the flesh".
However, Gargoyle manages to escape.

Lump, as expected, manages to free his mother from the evil of Baron Von Strucker.
However, the alien fears it is only temporary and orders Sentinel Kree in his service to self-destruct along with the base and all the deltoids.
Only Lump and the SHIELD deltoid survive.
