Story set in present day France, starring a philosophy professor: Alain Mangel.
His students at the university are recognizable for wearing purple clothes.
His story begins with his wife's request for divorce, dissatisfied with his impotence.
He signs the documents and suddenly finds himself with nothing.
One of his students, Elizabeth, comes to his aid and declares her love for him.
However, the girl demonstrates a divine vocation that borders on madness.
After some resistance he humors her and ends up getting her pregnant.
The woman drags him into a whirlwind of absurd episodes, including cohabitation with another couple.
Unfortunately, the couple they live with is involved in drug trafficking and drag them into a war in South America.
Everything happens during pregnancy and ends after the baby is born.
Strange story, not a novelty for Jodorowsky, well designed by the genius of Moebius.
