Her role is to keep the tone of the story “light”.
Giuseppe Bergman meets a strange couple in the savannah.
He's the lead singer of a punk band, a real asshole!
She is completely submissive to him and lets herself do anything.
In an attempt to recover their jeep, Bergman discovers that the punk band has kidnapped a Masai girl and he offers to find her.
His searches lead him to the Mountain of the Moon, where a castle has been built, now transformed into a hotel.
Legend has it that the castle was built over its owner's virgin daughter, who still holds up the heavy structure today.
Giuseppe Bergman meets the girl, in the end, discovering that she is really the beautiful narrator.
Although he does nothing to her, the castle collapses and Bergman tries to return to the Masai, but without success.
