Sean Cassidy, aka Banshee, clashed with John Lynch when he was working at Interpol.
The clash ended with Lynch's victory, who also captured a young mutant teleporter.
Now that Banshee is the director of Generation X he recognizes the trail of the young mutant arrested on Cerebro.
The boy's powers interest both Emplate, Monet's brother, and Trance group.
Gen13 and Generation X attack Trance and his group to save the boy.
Emplate also intervenes in the clash, but the young students manage to triumph.

Gen13 and Generation X meet again during a vacation in Mexico.
They were invited to a gloomy castle, run by an unscrupulous geneticist.
Dr. Pretorius creates human-animal hybrids to sell their organs on the black market.
He intends to capture Gen13 to exploit their super-organs, but he is unaware that Xavier's students also have powers.
The students manage to stop the geneticist, teaming up against him and freeing his hybrid test subjects.
