The story tells the erotic adventures of a Parisian maid and her inexperienced cousin.
Marie Aubert turns to her cousin Caroline Deschamps for advice on how to behave towards her lover, the painter Adrien Lebel.
Caroline seduces Marie and instructs her in libertinage, aided by the maid Antonia Leducq.
Men are soon involved in their erotic games, Caroline's lover Henri De Sarsalle and the young painter, in an erotic crescendo.
