The relationship between Spider-man and the Black Cat continues.
But Spider-man doesn't trust enough to show his secret identity to Felicia Hardy.
The Black Cat steals a large diamond, but Spider-man waits for her outside, convincing her to return it.
Felicia tries, but the temptation is too great.
Spider-man catches up with her on the dock and blocks her with the web, but she rolls into the water and disappears.
The narration flows pleasantly, the graphic quality a little less.

As the fight between Phoenix and the White Queen continues, the other X-men break free.
Phoenix wins and frees Ororo, while Emma Frost vanishes without a trace.

The mischievous touches of Byrne and Claremont continue to appear in the subplot.

The X-men visit Angel, aka Warren Worthington III, who is currently engaged to Candy Southern.
Cyclops updates Angel on the recent attacks from the Hellfire Club and Warren admits to being part of it, thanks to his family.
When Jean joins them in the desert, Angel leaves them alone and they can make love.
Jean proves she can control Scott's optical beams with her power.
The week after Wolverine and Nightcrawler infiltrate the Hellfire Club from the sewers, while the others enter the front door as Warren's guests.
Their presence does not go unnoticed by the inner circle, made up of Sebastian Shaw, Harry Leland, Jason Wyngarde and Donald Pierce.
Wyngarde springs into action, drawing Jean to him with his historical illusions.
When Scott tries to stop him, the Black Queen takes him down.
Colossus and Storm attempt to help him, but are both defeated by Shaw.
Wolverine and Nightcrawler take on Pierce and Leland.
The latter makes the mistake of weighing Wolverine down and drowning him in the sewers, without making sure he has killed him.
The quality of the Claremont cycle remains high.
In the end, when the Black Queen toasts with the inner circle, she shows the same sexy smile as Diane Rigg.
