Madame Web foresees a threat to her and asks Spider-man for help.
This is the Juggernaut, who has just arrived in town with Black Tom Cassidy, who wants to exploit her powers as a seer.
Juggernaut decided to set off towards her address.
Spider-man tries in every way to stop him, to no avail.
The Juggernaut detaches Madame Web from the machine that keeps her alive, discovering its purpose too late.
Spider-man has her taken to the hospital.
Two-part, flowing story.

In the clash with Phoenix, the one who comes closest is Wolverine, who, however, fails to hit her.
Phoenix captures all the X-men, but her love for Scott makes her falter.
Charles Xavier takes advantage of this and begins a telepathic confrontation with her.
Xavier manages to make Jean prevail over the Phoenix.
Jean falls to the ground, naked, where Scott promptly rescues her.
Jean's father starts to protest with Xavier, when all the X-men vanish into thin air.
Also this time the story is divided into several books.
A real shame, for the famous Phoenix cycle.

The X-men find themselves on the flagship of the Imperial Shi'ar fleet.
Empress Lilandra informs them that Phoenix must die for the massacre committed.
To save her, Charles Xavier challenges Lilandra to a duel of honor, which she must accept, despite protests from Kree and Skrull, present on the flagship.
The challenge is set for the next day, on the moon.
During the night the X-men relax in various ways, preparing for the duel.
The Beast appears to be entertaining an alien masseuse.
Also this time the story is divided into several books.
