The story is set in the 21st century, where Kate Pryde came out of the mutant concentration camp to bring medicines to the rebels.
Attacked by vandals, she is rescued by Logan, who has just returned to town.
Returning to the concentration camp, guarded by the Sentinels, she crosses the cemetery that surrounds it.
Among the gravestones are Johnny Storm, Ben Grimm, Charles Xavier, Scott Summers, Kurt Wagner, Reed Richards, Warren Worthington III and Hank McCoy.
Some survivors are waiting for her: Ororo, Peter Rasputin, Franklin Richards, Rachel Summers (daughter of Jean and Scott) and Magneto.
Rachel uses her powers to send Kate's spirit back into her young body.
Also this time the story is divided into several books.
One of the best stories of the Claremont cycle. Innovative, at the time, it was then repeatedly revived afterwards.
Based on the paradoxes of time travel.
