Emma Frost allows Kitty to stay at the Xavier Institute and leaves with Shaw unconscious.

As the X-men rebuild the school after the Sentinels attack, Kitty invents a bedtime story for Illyana Rasputin.
Kitty and Colossus are two pirates and in an enchanted world they meet the incarnations of all the X-men.
The Blackbird has the appearance of a dragon and she calls it Lockheed, after the dragon she'll have in the future.
Nightcrawler instead has the appearance of a gnome, like the "Banf" demons that will debut much later.
It can be safely said that this story inspired the entire "Excalibur" series.
