Peter has infiltrated the cult, but is discovered
Meanwhile, Mary Jane shows up for a well-paid photo shoot, but when she discovers that she has to pose nude, she leaves the studio.
After trying to talk to Peter, however, she goes back and undresses (strangely, a lace bra appears in the vignette).
Spider-Man asks Doctor Druid for help, who convinces him that the cult leader has no power.

Flash Thompson kidnapped Betty Brandt from the cult with the help of a priest.
Together with Peter they manage to free her from the brainwashing right away.
Meanwhile Mary Jane, while taking a shower, receives a visit from Aunt May who finds the nude photos of Mary Jane.
The cult members come to take Betty back by force.
Peter lets himself be captured so as not to reveal his secret identity.
Shortly after he breaks free and the leader of the sect is killed in a fire.
