Peter remains on the fishing boat that rescued him, even though he has no memories.
The captain, however, has a secret: he is the brother of Malcolm Knight.
Mary Jane goes out to dinner with colleague Jason, who kisses her. She rejects him, but he doesn't intend to give up.
Puma searches for Spider-Man and asks Kingpin for help, who asks him in exchange to eliminate Chameleon and Hammerhead.
The fishing boat captain reveals to Peter that he is Spider-Man, but is then attacked and killed by Fogg.
Knight thinks it was Spider-Man and intrudes on the fight with Fogg.
During the battle, however, the truth emerges and Fogg and Knight end up killing each other.
The captain actually survived.

Tombstone blackmails Molten into stealing an Osborn-produced substance, Diox, an agricultural preservative that could be useful in growing cocaine.
Molten reveals everything to Spider-Man and they agree.
During the theft they face Tombstone's men together, flanked by Goblin (Harry Osborn).
As they fight Joe Robertson shoots Tombstone, which is then exposed to the Diox.

Spider-Man talks to Harry Osborn, who appears to be intent on using the Goblin costume for good.
Spider-Man discovers Goblin's hideout and after a fight convinces him to drop the costume to think about family.
Tombstone returns to Hammerhead and reveals its new invulnerability.
