Joe Robertson searches for Tombstone, but finds a butchered Hammerhead.
When Tombstone arrives, he tells him that he does not want to kill him, that they are even.
Spider-Man intervenes anyway, but he can't help but block it with cobwebs.
Hammerhead breaks free and attacks him with a submachine gun, detonating the Santa Barbara he is attached to.

Hulk is attacked by a scientist who has perfected an energy absorber built by his brother Ricardo (old enemy of the Fantastic Four).
Spider-Man catches up with them, following a report for a news report, and confronts Hulk.
During the battle, Spider-Man is also hit by the car, then Hulk runs away believing he had killed him.

After the fight with Hulk, Spider-Man returns to New York and transforms into a Hulk.
The effect is intermittent, so Spidey has time to track down the scientist's house and figure out what happened.
A second contact with the machine brings him back to normal.
