The Space Phantom takes on the appearance of Spider-Man and causes a confrontation between the Avengers and his team of ex-criminals.
Puma however is not fooled and catches the criminal.
The two teams continue their investigations and manage to capture the entity who escaped from the crypt with Spider-Man.
Eventually it turns out that the leader of the Space Phantom was Calculus, of the Young Gods, who orchestrated everything to capture the dark entity.
