He tracks him to a dilapidated house in Brooklyn and confronts him, but fails to catch him.
Eventually Peter concludes that only Venom can stop him.

In the company of the Human Torch, Spider-Man returns to the island where he left Venom, to convince him to face Carnage.
After a long fight, they convince him to stop his killer spawn, but in exchange he wants to be free after the fight.
They easily find Carnage and confront him, but he uses a newborn as a hostage, distracting them and managing to escape.
His next target is Jameson.

Carnage kidnaps Jameson and lures Venom and Spider-Man to Madison Square Garden.
Spider-Man manages to knock out Carnage with the amplifiers from the current concert, then is helped by Reed Richards to imprison Carnage as well.
In the finale, at the Berlin airport, we see a couple who appear to be Peter Parker's parents.
