Nothing in particular happens, except a parade of more or less mischievous costumes.

Retrospective of the X-men, with insights into the origins.
Short flashback to the Hellfire Club.
Sebastian Shaw, accompanied by the Spanish Lourdes Chantel, attends the Christmas gala of the Hellfire club, as a guest.
The current white king, Edward Buckman, is secretly plotting to exterminate the mutants alongside Steven Lang (the creator of the Sentinels), but Shaw trusts him and doesn't suspect him.
Emma Frost uncovers the plot, but is attacked by a sentry.
Sebastian, Lourdes and Sage intervene to help her thanks to the Lourdes teleport.
Lourdes is killed by the Sentinel and Shaw avenges her.
