Science fiction story set in a strange reality influenced by Mayan legends.
In a despotic kingdom, power is held with an iron fist by the Emperor.
However, the current emperor is not the legitimate heir to the throne, given that the crown prince survived the massacre of his parents.
Leah Nantze had sworn loyalty to the previous emperor, but still remains faithful to the government and is part of the Tupil, its best warriors.
The loyalty of the Tupil is obtained in childhood, imposing on the chosen young people an induced dream that makes them faithful to the emperor.
When some Tupil are found tortured and killed, Leah is put in charge of the investigation.
Leah discovers the involvement of her former lover from the academy, Tepeuh, who is directly involved with the prince's disappearance.
Tepeuh is killed, but manages to direct Leah to the hideout.
Leah arrives too late, since the prince has already been taken by the Tupil assassins, but she discovers the truth about the death of the previous emperor and sets out on the trail of the heir to the throne.
The story is difficult to follow, with too many characters with strange names, but the drawings are captivating and cloyingly mischievous.
