Science fiction story set in space.
Morgana and Red survived the destruction of the Arcana, but are lost in space with their ship damaged.
Sophia is confined to the Great Library, where she discovers that Merlin has regenerated, returning to being Aion, Lord of Time and Becoming.
Aion searches for Morgana, who will have to decide the future of the empire.
At the same time in the capital, Montego witnesses the awakening of Noai, Lord of the World and of Maintenance.
He also searches for Morgana, for the same reason as his Aion counterpart.
Morgana and Red are captured by the Space Scavengers, who have now become pirates.
Morgana is locked up with another hostage, the dancer Draupadi.
After a failed escape attempt, Morgana and Draupadi become lovers.
Red manages to free himself and unleashes a group of rebel Krritt against the Scavengers.
Morgana discovers that Thor survived and so did the Arcana, now trapped inside a black hole.
Red and the Krritts kill all the Scavengers and everyone on their ships, including Draupadi, while Morgana is making love to Thor.
Red beheads Thor, but Aion keeps him alive.
When Morgana is ready, she can use Thor's power to reach the Arcana and fulfill her destiny.
