Miniseries dedicated to the return of Magik to Limbo, to cede the throne to Madelyne Pryor.
Illyana Rasputin, aka Magik, has decided to cede the throne of Limbo to Madelyne Pryor, recently brought back to life in Krakoa.
Moonstone and Wolfsbane accompany them to Limbo, unconvinced of her decision.
As soon as they arrive, they are attacked by S'ym and a horde of demons under his command (secretly led by a hooded figure), who manage to destroy Magik's soul sword.
The 4 women manage to escape from the castle, but find themselves in a snowy place, still in Limbo.

Magik, Moonstone, Wolfsbane and Madelyne reach a fortress protected by an elderly version of Illyana, who has replaced the soul sword with Warlock, their friend from Phalanx.
Together they attack S'ym, who has now become part of Phalanx and defeat him, thanks to the sacrifice of the old Illyana.
Magik inherits her techno-organic sword.

Madelyne takes the throne of Limbo.
Illyana makes peace with Colossus and they return to Krakoa.
Rather bland attempt to duplicate the success achieved by the original Magik saga.
Nonetheless, a pleasant read.
