Valentina is in Germany for work and feels lonely, not speaking the language well.
At the same time a girl, Effi, is kidnapped.
By chance, the kidnappers are staying in the room adjacent to Valentina's and are Italians.
Believing they are not understood, they talk about their plan and Valentina hears everything and decides to help the girl.
Effi's parents have an accident and die while carrying the ransom, so Effi is in danger.
Valentina follows the kidnappers, who luckily free Effi.
