Short story set in the near future.
In this "perfect" society, a group of beautiful women have the task of brightening the nights of the soldiers before the battle.
Tess is one of them, but when she meets a handsome dark man, she ends up breaking out of character.
The man tries to arrest her and this causes her to awaken.
Tess was in a virtual environment, created by her psychologist to help her overcome her low esteem.
Baldazzini's drawings are always beautiful, with the more or less explicit malice that characterizes them.
