Set in the golden age of the Republic.
Jedi Master Arca is training Ulic Qel-Droma, his most promising student and his less gifted brother Cay.
As part of their training, he sends them to the planet Onderon to solve the problems of that primitive culture.
On the planet the dark side is powerful and Ark must come to the aid of the brothers and their fellow Jedi.
The second chapter tells the story of Nomi Sunrider.
After the death of her husband, a Jedi, Nomi first uses her powers to protect her daughter.
Forced into hiding, she refuses to use them again, until she has no other choice and is trained by ancient Jedi Masters.
In the third chapter, the Qel-Droma brothers and the Master Ark return to Onderon, where the power of the dark side has grown.
Arca is captured by a Sith, King Ommin.
Meanwhile, Nomi has arrived at the Jedi school on Ossus.
The Jedi Knights intervene to save Ark, Ommin is defeated, but his daughter and grandson manage to escape.

No story from the comic book series prior to the Disney purchase (October 30, 2012) was recognized in the new continuity.
SW4 indicates the date on which the 4th cinematic episode is set, "a" indicates "forward", "d" indicates "after". The scale is in years.
