The story is set in 1500 in South America, during Cortez's conquest of the Aztec Empire.
We see Camilla again, the protagonist of the first chapter, who is listening to the story told by the Great Mother in reference to an Aztec manuscript kept in the secret library of the Daughters of Lilith, in Paris.
It is a Mayan magic book, received by a survivor of the slaughter perpetrated by the Aztecs against the Maya.
Three women have survived and one of them is a Witch, who teaches her secrets to the other two before she dies.
With their powers they manage to control some Aztecs and infiltrate their capital, contributing to the destruction of the Empire at the hands of the Spaniards.
Only that old manuscript, which no one can now read, remains as evidence of their history.
The drawings are, as always, exceptional, but the story is a bit confusing.

We are in Macao, in 1706.
The Daughters of Lilith must once again face the Brotherhood of Adam, this time controlled by a sadistic priest, who enjoys sodomizing his Chinese servant.
Cidàlia arrives from Portugal, commissioned by the Daughters of Lilith to eliminate the man.
However, someone has warned them of her arrival and they try to kill her on the first day.
A young Chinese martial arts expert, Xue Dan, which means Red Snow, intervenes to help her.
Xue Dan works for a Chinese organization, the Triad, with similar objectives to Cidàlia's, which wants to stop child trafficking.
Both obviously have the same target, even if they don't know it yet.
Cidàlia ends up in a trap together with her friend Antonia, wife of the Governor and a member of the sect, but who is also the traitor.
Xue Dan manages to save Cidàlia, but not Antonia.
