Science fiction story inspired by the works of Jean “Moebius” Giraud.
Lash discovers, by analyzing the corpses of Lilac and her brother with necromancy, that they are also artificial creations.
Since it is illegal to create artificial beings that do not have an animal head, the two investigators suspect that the conspiracy is very widespread.
A cat-headed woman and lover of the Master's daughter turns out to be a spy and steals the Master's black ring.
Tongue and Lash chase her into another dimension and manage to recover the ring.
As compensation they receive a ring, less powerful than the black one, but still able to make them travel between dimensions.
