The temporal mission is successful and as a result Thor becomes president of the United States and everyone receives superpowers, except Ben Grimm.
The origin of the powers comes from a miracle pill offered by the skrulls, contacted by Reed Richards thanks to the now fully functional teleport.
Strangely, Reed, Sue, Johnny and even Victor Van Damme receive the same powers as the other timeline.
In the finale, Sue Storm discovers that the skrulls use the miracle pill to trick a planet before conquering it.
In fact, at their signal, the pills kill those who ingested them.
