The series tells the adventures of the Ultimates, the Avengers of the “Ultimate” version, which inspired most of the elements included in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe).
In the seventh chapter, the funerals of Hulk's victims are held, over 300.
Meanwhile Janet Pym is hospitalized and Hank Pym escapes.
Betty Ross reveals that Janet Pym has always been beaten by Hank, even when they were engaged (she knows this because they were roommates in college).
This revelation prompts Steve Rogers to search for Hank Pym.
The existence of a secret section of the Ultimates is revealed, consisting of the Black Widow, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver.
This team is involved in covert and usually lethal operations.
Another transitional story (a little too much for a miniseries).

The series tells the adventures of the Ultimates, the Avengers of the “Ultimate” version, which inspired most of the elements included in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe).
In the eighth chapter we witness a mission of the secret team of the Ultimates.
Their goal is to eliminate those present in a skyscraper full of offices, apparently very ordinary employees.
Only Black Widow and Hawkeye are seen in action, absolutely lethal. There is also mention of a cybernetic enhancement of Black Widow.
In the finale, the two Ultimates teams meet when Nick Fury explains the existence of an alien plot to invade Earth, organized by the Chitauri, shape-shifting aliens with superhuman strength, who helped the Nazis seize power in the 1930s.
They built the H bomb that Cap stopped in the first chapter.
A little more action than the previous episode, but still a transitional story.
