Unfortunate editorial choice by Marvel Italy, to suspend the miniseries "The Ultimates" to propose the miniseries "Ultimate War" in the series.
Probably the reasons are to be found in the delay in the delivery of the original material by Marvel, but in any case they have broken the rhythm of an already slow miniseries.
The story begins with an attack by Magneto, leader of the Brotherhood of Mutants, who destroys the Brooklyn Bridge in New York and causes 800 deaths (in this universe they compete to see who massacres more ... in 2002 the memory of September 11 it's pretty cool in the US).
The Ultimates are tasked with capturing the mutants, including the X-men, guilty of lying about Magneto's death.
Trivia: Captain America reveals that he fought alongside Wolverine in World War II, but that he knew him by the name James Howlett.
Bachalo's designs are always captivating, the story is in line with the other “ultimate” ones.

In the second installment of the series, the Ultimates' search for the X-Men begins, but Magneto acts first, attacking the Triskelion and killing his treacherous son Quicksilver (mourning later reprized in the MCU, Marvel Cinematic Universe,).
Bruce Banner also manages to escape in the attack.
Bachalo's drawings are always captivating, the story is in line with the other “ultimate” ones, but the miniseries are already starting to lose its bite.
