Second series dedicated to the Ultimates.
Giant Man joins the Defenders, but they have no powers here. The members are Nighthawk, Power Man, Son of Satan (it turns out he is a SHIELD agent), Valkyrie and Hellcat.
Valkyrie is a good-looking 19-year-old in a sexy costume and obviously ends up in bed with Hank Pym.
On the first mission, Nighthawk ends up in intensive care and Hank loses faith in the group.
In the finale it is revealed that he knows the identity of the traitor in the Ultimates (not seen, but it is Black Widow), whom he meets in his apartment.
The Ultimates are used to overthrow a Southeast Asian government with nuclear weapons.
The story is a prelude to the series finale, in which the world reacts to American politics.
