Second series dedicated to the Ultimates.
The motivations of the coalition against the United States and the Ultimates are exposed.
Hank Pym, with his Ultron army, is also part of the plot.
President Bush has left the White House.
The Ultimates and Nick Fury are transferred to Washington to be executed.
But the counterattack begins: Tony Stark neutralizes Black Widow with the nanites he injected to control the engagement gift armor; Hawkeye manages to escape from his torturers, killing them with his fingernails; Wasp frees Captain America from the Triskelion prisons.
The pace slows down from the previous chapter, but it remains exciting.

Misty Knight survives the Silver Surfer, thanks to the intervention of Captain America and Falcon, who then lead her to the Triskelion.

Charles Xavier makes telepathic contact with the alien, frightening him enough to send a second Silver Surfer against Earth.
Iron Man and Mahr Vell manage to stop him.
As with the other Ultimates series, the constant changes of pace in the narrative damage the reading.
